For approximately 60 days I researched online and throughout the DFW metroplex for a variety of cars. One day, by chance, I connected with Jose Flores on the phone. There was still some confusion about what I was looking to acquire.

Jose invited me to come on in and talk about what I might be looking for, and accentuated, "no obligation". True to his word, he welcomed me to his dealership, walked all over his lot in 100+ degree heat and showed me different options in new and used cars. I didn't buy, and he didn't try and sell me...he just used the time to educate me and help me get to where I need to get to.

A week later, I called Jose and asked if they still had a certain car, which they did, and he shared that there was also a special on it. He shared with me the details, and invited me to come in. As luck would have it, I couldn't go that day, but was able to a couple of days later.

For his efforts, enthusiasm, and education, Jose was rewarded with the purchase of a new Honda Accord. His professionalism in working through the sale details, explaining all of the technology in the car, and taking me on a final check-out ride...then getting me through the business manager business (which was a pleasant experience for a change with Doug!) was unwavering and he was positive, pleasant, and patient throughout.

Buying a car is a royal pain. Jose, Travis, and Doug at David McDavid Honda of Irving made me feel like royalty. Great experience, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

We had gone to another Honda dealership and the service didn't come close to the level of service that we got at David McDavid. Everyone was extremely friendly and they went above and beyond to get me the best deal they could on my Honda Pilot and my salesman Andy even bought us dinner! I would recommend David McDavid to anyone looking for a quality vehicle.

This is the forth time we are buying from MC David of Irving. Felix and Andy have akways being our contact people at this dealership. However, this time around it was David Shaffer because Andy and Felix were busy with customers and we were in a hurry. We love the Accord V6 we bought and David was a very good sales person. Dog Lee was also very good with us at the financing department. Above all we had a very satisfying experience.

We just bought a Honda Accord V6 from David McDavid Honda in Irving, TX and it was truly a very satisfying experience. Andy Looney is a great asset for this dealership. He was knowledgeable, intelligent, kind and a very decent man (which is really rare nowadays). He was frank, straightforward and used no gimmicks. A very thoughtful man. Their director Selim Arikan was very helpful, and the finance department was happy to address our concerns and deal with our concerns. I would recommend Andy Looney and David McDavid Honda in Irving to anybody who is loking for no pressure, no gimmicks experience.

My Review of David McDavid Honda of Irving:
Me and my family have bought four cars from this dealership over the years. My last purchase was a Pilot from a sales person named Kevin Collins.Just like the previous experiences, I have nothing but nice things to say about this dealership.
Kevin was great. He was very patient and knowledgeble. Every time I buy a car or service my car, I drive by two other Honda dealers to get there. I have no reason to go to another dealer.The bottom line is, nobody is perfect but these guys make you feel like they realy care about you.

My Review of David McDavid Honda Of Irving:
Awesome experience, great car and alltogether a good purchase experience. Everything was done professionally, Mr. Salas was great and I highly recommend him. They had someone come and talk to me about extras (you know, the coating, and the fabric stuff, the molding, etc.)but not pushy. Just walked through, if I had a question they answered and we moved on. I ended up buying a couple of extras (alarm and tinted windows), got some gap insurance and overall I feel good about the price I paid. I read the other reviews posted here but my experience was completely positive. Love the Honda!

    This was one of the best purchasing experiences I have ever had in 40 years.

Kudos to David Henry of David McDavid.  Sent an email bid request with specs.  David replied, "Send me your best quote and I'll beat it by 'up to' $500."  He did and emailed me a confirmation.  I put down a deposit and went in next day and drove off in my new 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L equipped to my specifications, totally cleaned up, fully tanked and at the price I was quoted.  David was a straight shooter all the way through the process and did everything he said he would do; plus some.  Let me assure you I got a great price (this is my 10th new car puchase over a 35 year period), a well built vehicle and a sales rep that knows what the word "integrity" means!

My wife I were treated with the greatest of respect and the whole process tool less than two hours.  The accessorie sales rep (extended warranty, accessories, etc.) was cordial and not high-pressure and the finance manage walked us through the paperwork in an easy and simple manner.  Joe, their delivery coordinator, walked us through all the gadgets and operations of the vehicle and then top of all that ... we were fed a sandwich buffet dinner.

My experience at David McDavid Honda was a great one. I inquired about a Civic on their website and was immediately contacted by Claire from the internet department. She took the time to ask me about the exact car and options I needed and wanted. When it came time to talk about price, which is usually the most dreaded part of buying a car for me, they were the most competitive of the three dealers I contacted. I arrived at the dealership and Claire showed me the car and answered all my questions about the options. Eventhough the finance department was busy, signing my contract was easy and with no suprises. This was simply the best experience I've ever had buying a car.
