| | The 2012 Honda CR-VHonda's popular CR-V crossover vehicle has incurred a complete redesign with the new 2012 model, though it will retain many of the current model's functional features. Safety features on the 2012 release will be similar to previous CR-V models. The antiskid feature returns for all models, with front-wheel drive (FWD) the standard for most types. All-wheel drive (AWD) will be included on high-end models and is an available option on others. FWD provides better traction on wet roads, while AWD engages automatically in snowy or other conditions where front control may slip. The 50/50 AWD feature splits control between the front and rear wheels, and drivers can select continuous 50/50 control for low-speed, off-road conditions. Antilock brakes, front-side airbags and curtain-side airbags will also be included. | |
